Hi, I'm Julie, Speech Pathologist at Heathcote Speech Pathology.
I started Heathcote Speech Pathology in January 2023 and moved to the current premises in Veno Street, with my colleague Tegan (Bloom Kids Occupational Therapy) in June 2023.
I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology (with Distinction). I have worked as a Speech Pathologist with children and families for over 20 years. I have enjoyed working in a variety of Private Practice and Community Health settings, running group, parent and professional training and providing clinical supervision for both Speech Pathologists and Speech Pathology students.
I keep up to date by engaging in regular professional learning and professional supervision. I completed a Masters degree in Special Education in 2005, and am trained in a variety of interventions for helping children with language, speech sound and literacy development. I am a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
I am also a mother to 4 tweens and teens (aged 11-15 years).
My priority is to provide family-focused, high quality, evidence-based care to help you and your child reach your communication goals.
